"We visited here after a trip to a National Trust property. We parked outside here to go to a pub further up the road & expected it to be closed when we came back, but they were still open at 9.10pm. Which was very lucky for us! The staff were so friendly & the food was all delicious. We ordered mixed kebab meat, fish, steak pie, large sausage & large chips. The prices are very good & the portions are very generous. As it was near closing, they gave us a large battered sausage & 3 potato fritters for free. We mentioned that we were going to share the food whilst sat in the car, as we aren’t local & asked if we could have 3 spare trays to make it easier. They went one step better by giving us 3 trays & offering for us to sit inside at a table, as they still needed to do their cleaning. We gladly took them up on this offer & thoroughly enjoyed everything. Such excellent & friendly service. We will definitely return here if we’re ever in the area again :-)"

"We thought it was just fish, but wow, we were surprised by all the variety! We decided to try the burger, chicken strips, and the Shawerma. The food came out super fast, only 15 minutes. Everything tasted like home cooking, so clean and delicious, and the portions were huge. They were so friendly, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this town."

"Needed a chip shop that had seating so it ticked that box. Food cooked to order. The fish was excellent but the staff either couldn't understand my Yorkshire accent or their English wasn't that good. Very pleasant staff though I did have to laugh that although there were two tables to sit at if you wanted salt and vinegar then you had to keep asking over the counter for it as they only seemed to have one set in the whole chippy. It must be a bit rough in Cheadle if they can't let the salt and vinegar out of their sight for fear of it getting nicked."
